Tricky one as I think the attack with Saab on the right wing brings in attacking kicks and early shift to utilise his speed.

Thought Ciraldo kicking to Hoppa we didn’t get the best out of Talua’s strong ball running on kick returns to get the set of six off with good momentum.

If all available Saab should play, who misses out would be extremely unfortunate.

As good as Hoppa has been, I think the fact that the Dogs manhandled him a lot yesterday (something Robinson is sure to have noted) might see him the one dropped to the bench should Saab be available.

Question:

If Jason Saab is available this week (they did say Week 2) ... does he get selected straight back onto the wing?? And if yes, who drops to at least the bench??
If Saab is fit & selected then I think Lehi will be 14 with Brbo 18th man. Croker has been playing 80 minutes & Lawton can always cover for him. Aloiai, Brown & Bully complete the bench.
Trbo
Saab
Garrick
Koula
Talau
Brooks
DCE
Paseka
Croker
Lodge
Olakau’atu
Lawton
Jrbo
Res: Lehi, Aloiai, Bully, Brown.
I think this is our strongest team??

Just had a look at the kennel on your recommendation. I reckon I lost 10 IQ points in 2 minutes reading that dribble. Never again.

Love them or hate them the respect is always there 🤝

I ended up having to come on here because I saw rumours from dogs fans of course that the nrl were looking at the DCE scrum play try or something, trying to take it off us or some bull****, which it was bull****. The comments are filled with manly shouldn't have scored from that forward pass, DCE should have got 10 for touching curran, the referee is the man of the match etc like blah blah blah, keep sooking.

That sooking happens in every club to be fair

This scrum was the one.

DCE’s neck is clearly in the scrum… the red line on a still shot never lies when it comes to forward passes, the same applies here…

DCE was built for this very moment… all those neck stretches finally paid off.

When Aloiai, Bullemor and Brown were on against the Dogs our go forward virtually stopped. At times we even struggled to get off our line and there were even sets where the first 3 or 4 hit ups after a kick were done by the backs with no forwards even in the picture.

I'll actually concede that our middle defence wasn't as bad as I made out. We did manage to hold on and keep it close enough for the comeback. Though it wasn't until Jake, Paseka and Lodge came back on that we started to get on top.

I wonder if anyone noticed that Jake actually spent time on the bench during the game?
