Been wondering for a while. Was always a little reluctant to share these views due to the possible reaction, but feck it i say.

Snake is a champion but every manly fan collectively holds their breath every time he is tackled
Manly have his complete medical history and reports
Its rumoured manly have too many back ended deals
We do have some good fullback prospects coming through
Snakes long term contract and future always have an element of fingers crossed about them

Glen has had some injury plagued seasons recently
Glens contract was up snake still had 2 years
They have always maintained hey want to stay together

As glens contract situation played out those within would have known exactly what impact it was having and on who

Have manly pulled a swifty and dodged glen to get both of the stewies out to relieve cap pressure and look to rebuild with emerging talent

They have both been champions but they are a gamble moving into there twilight years.

James, i) think you credit the disfunctional board and recruitment ppl with way too much strategy.
ii) as far as 'staying together' is concerned, cant see Snake in Cardinal & Myrtle as they have the footy God: "GI" holding down that spot. And as we all know he is the greatest footballer since Bozo er Churchill and wont be going anywhere.

Should we be predicting a mass exodus across to the NFL if Hayne's new career works out? I remember all that fear that arose as a result of some good players going across to the Superleague, SBW and others going to Union, and also Hunt & Folau going across to AFL.

I hope it sticks to a few select players.
