While Snake, Shoulders and Killer etc are greatly missed maybe DCE now has stepped out of the last dynasties shadow and will now create a new one. I still think he is in the top 3 halfbacks in the NRL and is well worth the $10 mill.

We needed the old guard out as soon as possible because I think that many of them (especially Brett) were spitting chips about the way Gifty was treated. I think we would have won the 2013 GF and probably made the finals in 15 and 16, if not for the way they spat the dummy.

The 'dummy spit' started in 2014. However I agree with the general sentiment - apart from Jimbo Lyon not being part of the Pied Piper of Forestville's TAB Dummy Spitting Brigade.

It's really been a very sad end to the Prince of Brookvale's career.

I'm going to try and forget the dummy spitting, and the not turning up and remember some of those magical moments he gave us.

Never forget that try v the Tigers when he came through , caught a kick under the posts and scored!

But that's just one of many.

Hope the boys get a Brookvale send off but it's not looking likely is it?
