Chanel Nein V Fox HD

Why is it that Fox can replay the Friday night games in HD whilst Nein broadcasts live in basically analogue?

All my TV comes in via FOX but the Nine signal during live telecasts is crap; yet watch the FOX replay the next day and its in beautiful HD.

Why is this so?

Because of the Anti-siphoning legislation.....NRL has to be on the main channel by law, so that everyone has access to it (in league territory anyway, a deal was made with Conroy to broadcast on GEM in non league areas so they automatically get the glorious HD), good news is that it will be HD in a few years when analogue is switched off.
