Journey Man
Just say Monaghan was released to The Salford Tigers as reported, what would you guys think of a side like this:-

01. Brett Stewart
02. Ashley Alberts
03. Steven Bell
04. Jamie Lyon
05. Chris Hicks
06. Michael Witt
07. Matt Orford
08. Brent Kite
09. Luke Williamson
10. Lance Thompson
11. Anthony Watmough
12. Steve Menzies
13. Ben Kennedy

14. Shayne Dunley
15. Kylie Leuleuai
16. Jason King
17. Kane Cleal / George Rose / Mark Bryant / Sione Finefeuiaki

Man - could you guys just imagine how ruthless Bell / Lyon onto Alberts / Hicks would be !!!

Garts I guess the assumption is that we clear up $240,000 and whatever Hecks was on we have enough to make an offer to both.

Lyon/Bell onto Alberts/Hikcs may be alright, unfortunately unless Witt gets out of Orfords way and pulls a season ending injury in round 1, that side is going to shutdown at 5/8.

Seeing what St helens are now offering Lyon to sign on again we will probably need both Monaghan and Hecks salaries to have any hope of signing him.

I can't believe that manly are going to pay $240K for a PL player next year.

Alberts & Hicks are average players . Not too many opposition teams in the NRL would fear these 2 names. ( my opinion )

ALberts biggest let down was his defence - and face it his tackling style involves a lot of upper body work. He came back from a shoulder reconstruction with no offseason to beef up where it counts, i cant imagine him being worse than this year where he was our best centre. Made 150 metres against Gasnier remeber.
