I’d say Jake would be the number 1 option , just needs to calm down when talking to the refs

Yeah Jakey but needs to remain composed... id also rate Tapau as vice captain as he really seems to have taken a mature/ leadership style role this season!

Since when has any refs EVER listened to any Manly Captain? we don't have a crim Smith, so I rather have someone passionate leading the team, there is no one more Manly than our JT, the team would follow him to hell and back and then do it again just for the fact he was leading the charge. Even I'd follow him into the trenches if he asked!

Thommo would be excellent.
Jake would be great if he can keep a lid on it but he would have to adjust it to his workload. Would it be too much?
No he'd handle it.
Could also strike while the iron is hot and appoint Croker.
He'll probably already be running the show and he'd probably be up to it.

I agree with you on this one . Every player has their own qualities and whilst Jake is a top quality player , I think Thomo has that leadership characteristic

I think for a week or two, Joel would be a great choice.

Everyone knows Jake is our next long term captain, but would be a great gesture to a bloody great bloke and leader in Joel.

He will likely be off to England at the end of the season, so to allow him the honour would mean a lot to him.
