Maybe not so relevant. But I was at the game, and it was a fierce contest. Blocker was there, Siro, Backdoor Benny, Wayne Pearce, etc... they were a tough side, and hard to beat at Leichhardt. That fire still burns today, but even moreso now that the West Tigers are having a reasonable crack this year...

Tigers are one of the only teams other than Manly that I actually like. I always liked Balmain, Liechardt and Laurie Nichols. The team they won with in 2005 was highly entertaining, for me it was the last season before wrestling ruined things and rugby league was at its height of excitement and talent.
