For when they get tired of working over Toronto:
Due to britian's inability to run a half decent competition, Canada has once again picked up a league license dirt cheap to help out the isolationist eel pie eating desperates. Obviously facing, once again situations like no tv coverage, no share of prize money, having to pay for travel for the poor 'ol blighties', Canada will once again strive to bring rugby league to the masses on the back of our society of inclusiveness, even if having to hold chook raffles just to survive while watching the player drain flock to the nrl seems preferable to the terminally confused.
"If the billionaires of that country can't even stump up a few pounds to keep a good game going, then I guess we'll have to," sources close to the new team owners have said.
OTTAWA GETS GREEN LIGHT
The British game will have a second side in North America after it was confirmed that Ottawa will follow Toronto Wolfpack in having its own rugby league team.
The Ottawa Aces are spearheaded by Eric Perez, the ousted former CEO of the Wolfpack, and will join League One – the game’s third tier – next season.
Perez says that he is keen to grow the game in Canada and to hopefully forge a rivalry with Sonny Bill Williams’ Wolfpack
“The success that we’ve had in Toronto, I felt that Ottawa could have the same kind of success. And we needed a rival, Toronto needed a rival and so Ottawa steps in to be the rival,” said Perez.
“It’s a very fast, very exciting, very skilful game and I know Canadians value high professionalism and elite athletes, and this is a chance to see first-class athletes playing an elite game.”
Perez said that Ottawa would begin recruiting players, coaches and administrators in the coming weeks.

Let's hope they're run better than the hockey team, Ottawa Senators. The owner really needs to have his licence stripped. Moron never spends money on players, and only Detroit saving them from being last, a millions years in a row.
I also hope Ottawa get a better deal than Toronto from SL.
