Joe Burgess has decided to leave the Wigan Warriors for Australia at the end of the 2015 Super League season after agreeing to join the Sydney Roosters.
The 20-year-old winger, who burst onto the Super League scene in 2014, will be out of contract with the Warriors in the autumn and the club have failed to persuade him to sign a new deal.
"We did everything we could but he wants to experience the Sydney lifestyle," said Wigan's football general manager and director Kris Radlinski.
Widely regarded as one of the hottest properties in the game, Burgess played and scored against the Roosters in the World Club Challenge clash at the start of last season in Sydney.

So with rabbits getting older and the majority of the NRL commentary being incompetent half the time is this the nrls way of making commentating easier.

There will be a new law soon that states you must have a burgess in your top 17.

And will Mr Smith be opening the cheque book to get him back? And if so why to the Roosters? Why not the Sharks, Canberra or St Merge?

Would the last Burgess to leave England please make sure that the lights are turned off and the doors are locked. Thank you.
