And you watch the NRL will want the dogs in a PF or even the GF provided they don't face the storm in the PF

this has rabbits 2014, sharks 2016 vibes
They may not win it this year but they will be given a title in the few years.

If you feel the game is rigged as you are suggesting why even watch it? Is thinking it is rigged easier than the reality that we have been mediocre for a decade.

Was the game rigged when we were the most dominate club in comp financially and player strength wise or as I suspect the rigging only occurs when we lose.

The truth is we will win tonight if we are good enough, I fear we are not.

It smells exactly like those years.

South’s under “ Uncle Wayne “ was definitely a Fairytale and the first ever for the Sharks with ET & Gallen crying , definitely another Fairytale.

Que 2024 & it’s clearly the Bulldogs turn.

Will be very warm for kickoff around 26 degrees
Think our forwards may struggle in this heat

More excuses for Fatigue ?
What are we now . Chocolate Meting Soldiers ?

There is an old and true saying
if you can't handle the heat get the fck out of the kitchen !

Nothing smells quite like our 2011 Grand final Manly celebrations
No one could stop our Legendary Premiership Winning teams Momentum
No conspiracy , No Refs , No NRL official , Not even Uncle Wayne

The Moral of the story ...
If your Good enough
Your Unstoppable

You know mate , I think those days are over.

The days when the best team would win.

It’s a whole new world now , broadcasters / gambling institutions now define the game.

It’s all about $$$$$$$

And those organisations perceive they can make more money with certain sides , so any team from “ the heartland “ that is western Sydney or Queensland will always get the major rub of the green.

Regardless of all your quotes & memes that’s the clear issue we ( and many other teams ) are facing.

The NRL have made Rugby League into “ Entertainment “ now , it’s no longer gladiatorial , it’s all aimed at Generation X / Y / Millenials.

Manly being located on the wealthy “ northern beaches “ and being far from the only game in town there is a real issue.

We quite frankly , just don’t matter ( to them).

You know something, I don't have an issue with Koula going back to the bench for Talau. Koula may make Talau look like Marty Bella in a sprint race, but for football skills and brains, Tommy T2 has it all over him.

Big Forwards make a Big Impact
Lets hope they all do their job tonight !

One of the Dogs biggest strengths this year has been their ability for their mobile pack to run rings around bigger ones like ours. Rather than take bigger packs head on, they run them around and tire them out. I do agree with @XV-1 in that I hope Seibold actually brings Lawton into the 17 because our pack and bench tonight as named kinda lacks speed and mobility.

Yes I must say I’m bewildered as to why he’s not in the side.

I look at it this way my feathered friend
Since 2011 all we are doing is coming up with excuses why we can not win another Grand final
When we become capable of coming up with solutions to those excuses we will soar once again like Premiership Winning eagles

I won’t be participating in the GDT tonight , I think the boys will have a great crack at this one but I just know the result will be “ managed “ and it’ll be sayonara Maroon & White.

Here is another perspective view
One of the Dogs biggest weakness in the beginning of the year was their forwards size and status but their coach turned his small hounds into relentless and resilient terrors who are now ranked as one of the best defensive packs .
The dogs pack are certainly the overachievers

You mean Lawton?? I'm not sure who I'd bring him in for though because other than probably giving Aloiai a night off ... I'd be tempted to bring Lawton in for Gordon just to eliminate that weakness.
Gordie isn't in the side, the bench is Koula + 3 forwards

Time for us to stand up and show if we're fair dinkum or not. Forwards better put in and show they're up to it. Last week was an embarrassment. Don't give the whistle clown a chance to blow us out of the game. Hold our discipline , up our line speed and dominate.
