Match Stats

I said to @Ryan after the match, look at the difference when we have two class halves and mobile forwards.

I LOVE that it is no longer all on DCE to be our creative spark.

And gosh I love Bullemor. The passion he shows when wearing our jersey is addictive.

That try from Koula. He hasn't had the season we'd hoped for, but that try he scored was all class.

And Haumole. Ten tackle breaks today. So strong.

When it mattered, we played with more composure. I loved it.

Go Manly!

The niggle from Mahoney and Crichton and the general nonsense from the Dogs supporters, just makes beating them that much nicer!
God, I hope somebody asked Chricton how much he enjoyed his first loss to Manly after that game. Because it sure as f**k wouldn't have been as much as I enjoyed it.

He is an amazing player, one of the best in the NRL, but he carries on like a pork chop on the field sometimes. Even Jake had to have words🙂

He is the type of player you hate when playing against your team, but you love if he was wearing your colours.

I haven't posted much, but I have to say, holy crap I'm happy. Defensively could have been a bit better. Some rocks and diamonds from some players. But we dug in that second half. The rughy league world was against us today. We would have had plenty of reasons to roll over but we didn't.

Get that up ya non Manly fans !

I almost cried in happiness, when we challenged that Olakau'atu going for the ball and won. They tried so hard to give it over to The Dogs, but it was just too obvious.

Hell yeah !

And @NREagle , sorry about my tantrums hahaha. Xo.

Yeah great point. That Captain’s Challenge was huge in the context of closing out the game. The Garrick challenge was also excellent because we scored off the scrum base to get back in the contest.

Manly Mentality...finally comes to life (thank you Seibs and Tony)

DCE- huge...and his agro showed just how much it means to him

Our Forwards.. played against an upbeat Dogs pack buoyed by the occasion and the crowd, they would have given the Storm and Panthers a run with that effort and yet our forwards just kept trying.

You saw then just how much it means to ALL the players.. great gutsy effort and belief.
I for one feel ashamed for doubting their commitment to the jersey at times throughout the season.

I think we forget the players are just human and have their good and bad days but really we as fans shouldn't doubt their commitment to the team and to winning.

Go Manly
