I agree with the hooker part, look at some of the hookers for the other teams in this round... Harry Grant, Mitch Kenny, Connor Watson, Blake Brailey, Reece Robson, even the pest Reed Mahoney. Croker is not in the same league.

If only Manase hadn't of stuffed up back in the day. Since then we've had to settle for 2nd or 3rd best.

Its probably been said already but I would have Tommy Talau in the centres and Koula on the wing - despite the height difference.

Couldn’t agree more. Tommy is an out and out centre imo. Stick Koula on the wing where he can use his straight line speed.

I was there that day , and in fact the player who scored the try on the 7th tackle comes from my home town of Moree so after he retired I asked him about it, his words as follows .

“ it was the last tackle , and we tried the short side but got tackled the player got up , looked at the ref who was waving his arm for the last tackle so with the Manly defenders just standing there thinking it was a scrum ( not a handover back then) I was passed the ball and just strolled over for the try ,I knew , the players knew , it was on the 7th tackle”

It changed the game and was very much part of the reason your side won.

I'm pretty much worried about everything everyone has written on here today. But I also think we can win if the forwards turn up (a phrase that should never exist in footy to start with), Turbo can at least play a solid attacking game and can organise the defence, DCE and Brooksie run the ball straight and we get an even share of ref calls. But I'm worried worried worried 😂
