Buhrer & Jake future leaders

First Grader
Jamie Buhrer played out of his skin against Storm.
Came back earlier than expected & is a far better player than he was 2 years ago - there's a new toughness to his game - willing to take some ugly grunt runs , not just that edge runner anymore...
His defence was great also & again - hits well for his size & seems to realise he needed to toughen his game up with Gift & Watmough gone.
The impact Jake made was massive & his hit off the kickoff at 24-22, knocked the wind out of the Storms sails.
Could have waited to bully one of the halves but decided to cut the biggest bloke on the field in Learoyd Lars in half...lit up the crowd & breathed fire back into his team mates.
Also noted he played great off the ball supporting the likes of Mason to take some heat & help control winning field position & knew played his role (though a short time) frame, perfectly.
These 2 are going to lead the Manly charge for many years imo & this is a reason on its own to have faith in the Seaeagles future!!
