Just how dark did it go with the light on the hill going out?

Actually it wasnt too bad when the 2 banks of lights went out,they couldve played on easily.

It depends what side of the field you were on. It seemed pretty dark from the hill side as you are looking into the lights and all the players are dark. I couldn't read the players numbers.

I doubt it would have been all that dark looking from the other side.

That said you play park footy in that sort of ligth, so its a pain but not impossible to play on. I was really worried that I'd driven up from Canberra for a game that was going to be called off.

My wife and I drove up from Canberra as well. We were listening to the ref on Sports Ears. The first time after the Dobson try he was adamant the game couldn't go on without the lights back on. He only changed his mind when it sounded like he was told to get on with it by the video ref and NRL ground manager.

The second time up the other end he asked both captains if they wanted to continue after saying FOX and NRL were happy to continue?
