Both Brookvale and Leichhardt ovals have atmospheres that are amaing when those grounds are full. For the Tigers its a romantic notion about Leichhardt being their spiritual home and I do empathise with Balmain supporters who lose their club during the merger. I remember how empty I felt sitting through the northern eagles games. A packed Brookvale is intimidating for opposition teams as is Leichhardt. I would like to see investment in these grounds so that the heritage of the game is retained.
