I know he is old, but his presence and composure is what is really needed. He can come off the bench for 20 minutes 1st half and the last 15 minutes. His influence would be a winner.

As I understand the salary cap third party deals from non sponsors of the club are excluded. I'm not a wealthy man, but I would put $5K on my credit card to get him back. If 20 of us did that it would be $100k.

You might be surprised to hear that plenty of people were talking about this at Brookie oval today and later at the Leagues Club.

Its all so hypothetical but......if the financials were somehow OK, would Beaver still be able to cut it playing at NRL level?
