Off contract at the end of the year, should we try and get him? I know he's a bit inconsistent but he directs the team well and is quite creative. And it's not like we don't need another half. Still relatively young so would he be a good purchase?

However he can not play in 5/8 he is a half only and falls to bit when he becomes the deputy

Wouldn't come cheap (played in Grand Finals, Origin etc, you'd be dreaming if you thought you could even get him for 250k) and won't win you a comp. No from me.

You won't get a SOO "class" player for under $100K, even Finch.

Anyway he's not a player that makes me all warm and fuzzy I'd rather see money spent on someone more consistent, or with more potential.
