Interesting game this week with Bradford up against 4th placed Halifax. Both teams are 5 wins and 4 losses for the season. It should reflect how Bradford are travelling. It is evident they will avoid relegation where two more wins will see them move to third last at this stage.

I've been trying to find out what their finals structure is in that division and if they are a chance.
It would be a massive effort.

After playing each other twice, the bottom four teams in Super League play the top four teams in the Championship in their own league of 8. The top 3 teams earn a place in the next seasons Super League while teams finishing 4th and 5th play each other in the Million Pound Game for the final Super League place.
At the other end of the table, the 8 remaining teams play each other once and with their points earned from the first two rounds, the bottom two teams are relegated.

It looks like the top 3 are settled, one of which, Toulouse is in their first season in this division. So the battle is on for fourth spot and there are 3 teams on ten points, today, which is where Bradford would be without the 12 point penalty. Can't see it happening but I am very interested to see if they progress above 10th spot at seasons end. They could get close to challenging for winning Championship shield which between the top four after the first top four have gone into their comp of trying to get promoted.

Easy to understand!

Bradford 12 Halifax 22. Game played yesterday.
Unfortunately, Dewsbury, 11th beat Batley 20-4. Now Bradford is four points behind 10th and 11th placed teams and their trek to avoid relegation.
Next match tomorrow, Bradford v Featherstone (7wins, 3 losses)

Do you know what's going on with Tooves?....is the Visa thing still an issue?....is he even still over there?

Toovey’s visa

One name mentioned in passing for the Saints job is Bradford “coach” Geoff Toovey. He still hasn’t taken charge at the Bulls due to visa issues, and no one appears to have a clue just when he is likely to get one. The club themselves don’t have a timescale and so Leigh Beattie may have a job for a while longer yet, and who knows maybe even permanently. News of Misi Taulapapa’s visa coming through for Featherstone will have pricked up the interest of those at Odsal.

THE BULLS FELL TO A TOUGH LOSS AGAINST WEST YORKSHIRE RIVALS, HALIFAX RLFC, TONIGHT, AS BRADFORD’S HOPES OF REACHING ZERO HAVE BEEN POSTPONED.
The opening twenty minutes of the game saw both sides locked in an arm-wrestle, where neither could gain control of the ball.

Both outfits exchanged kicks, as the sides looked to make their way through their sets, attempting to tire each other out.

What has Tooves got himself into.
I would've thought a Graham Lowe run organisation to be far more professional than this.
However the only person who can dig them out of it all is Tooves.
