Bozo gone

He has done more for Manly than all of us put together...won premierships as a player and coach and helped dig us out of a deep hole two years ago.

I think he deserves all the respect and appreciation coming to him.
100% I never could understand the raging anti Fulton sentiment on here from some. A league legend that we’re so fortunate to count as one of ours. What he’s done with our squad (take a quick look at what we had before he came on board) in two years is outstanding. Huge potential in coming seasons and even got us a foot inside the Penrith juniors. Thanks Bozo, no doubt you will maintain a close connection with the club.

Great to see its an amicable departure (which is rare for us) for once. Barrett has full control now.
Rare? It's almost unheard of! Aside from his glittering playing and coaching career, he's confirmed immortal status by this feat alone.

On a more serious note, watching him play when I was a kid is the reason I became a Manly fan and that has sure worked out well, so it's a big thanks from me too, Bozo!

Though I've had a few issues about Bob, I've always known he had Manly's best at heart. Actually his leaving makes me rather nervous. Like Arko, he has been our Godfather, and when these personalities leave things dont always head in the right direction. The Gorman-Barrett combination looks fine to me and I suspect Fulton had to go to ensure this combination had a chance. With Fulton gone though we are somewhat fatherless. Maybe its time for Toovey to return to admin in the club.

Do you really believe it was amicable.................you don't think it has something to do with the coach and incoming CEO wanting to ensure there is no one lurking in the background to undermine their authority?

After all the previous coach and previous CEO were Bozo's victims.

At least the pubic statement was amicable.

Not so much undermining, as controlling.

That is Bozo's nature and it has its place in coaching or rebuilding, but is no longer required in the Footy Department :nerd:

Also alleviates any drawn out Salary Cap interviews, as Bozo can no longer be compelled by the NRL to attend @:)

Now for Lottoland to build the Hill Stand and name it after Beaver, so Bozo gets the Southern Stand all to himself :lightbulb:

I love you just for that suggestion. Bring back toovs now manly, we need someone to lay down an example of our standards

I keep hearing on the news he is ending a 50 years at Manly,
what about the time spent at the Roosters, was he a spy for us

Thanks for being Manly Bozo. I can't ever agree with the Tooves treatment as to me he's as much as a legend as Bozo. Happy retirement to him and I hope he can sit back and watch Manly win #9 in the near future.
On a lighter note, after years of many posters bagging out Bozo the narcissistic, nepotistic old dinosaur, it's now kind of like the dead guy that every body used to hate and now he's suddenly become awesome😉
*joke not meant to offend.@

Now with Lyle Gorman said to be waiting in the wings. I just have great difficulty believing Bozo has just decided to walk.

For a change the club has handled this really well, l so hats off to all involved.

A seed planted in the media, someone's unhappy they missed out on the CEO job. Now a statement Bozo has stood down of his own volition because the time is right. We put 1 and 1 together without a word being said.

I wonder in reality if Kristy and her "Karma's a bitch" comment when it was Bozo or Cleary and Bozo won has gone full circle.

Perhaps the perception that Fulton's run his club wasn't a good look for Rick.

Pushed or Walked, regardless, Let's face it, if Bozo was the only man needed or wanted, Gorman wouldn't have even be discussed would he.

Thanks Bozo. All the best in the future.
