I would love to read more about the great history of our club.

My Mum told me last night that she knew the Bradstreet family growing up, the son Billy, played plenty of games for us in the 1960s & 70s. Having been born in 1975 I am largely ignorant of our players (apart from a couple like Arko, Irvine, Moose etc) from '47 to the late 70s.

Does anyone know how/where i could get hold of books on our club and or former players??
e.g. The Sea Eagle has landed (by Smith), The Manly Warringah Story (by McDonald & Henderson), The Moose That Roared, Arko: My Game etc.

Didn't Thomas Keneally write one as well?? (& no I am not referring to the Utility Story about Des which I have read before).

a couple you mentioned are on here

My ex picked up The Sea Eagle has Landed book for me off ebay a few years back, is a good read

If the club were smart they would look at an updated version of this, have won 3 comps since last printed

The website www.abebooks.com is good for looking for 2nd hand books, it's worldwide but has alot from Australia and NZ. I have found quite a few books on league here but Ebay is the another good way to pick cheap books.

If anybody can list a few more books they know of regarding Manly or Manly players i would be keen to hear about them too

Does anybody know if Bobby Fulton has ever had a book written about his career?
