Boo hooing DCE is not the way forward

I think Bozo is actually a roosters fan sent here to troll us on behalf of the other 3 roosters fans.
He loves Bozo fulton - who went to play for the - roosters
Every time we talk about cap and the sombrero, - bozo relentlessly says rules are made to be broken and the roosters are doing the best job at 'cap management'
Bozo says it's all Manly's fault that dce will probably sign for the - roosters.
Coincidence?????

You got one thing right feathered friend
I do love Bob Fulton <3

Was a long tim ago.
Good post, however I do not recall it being an ‘open secret’ months in advance, that Fulton was leaving.

My recollection is that the Roosters’ offered him a deal just before or after the 1976 GF. It was then announced (from memory) sometime before the October long weekend. In those days, the latter was two weeks after the grand final.

It was a bit of a letdown at the time, so soon after a premiership victory. I liken it to Hasler’s 2011 defection.

Wasn't there even a tv commercial made in the Manly dressing room, with Frank Stanton "What's that other team, Bozo?" "Oh Easts, Frank" and the team all laughing.

But your memory seems better than mine. Here's a story 3 days after the grand final all about Bozo and Easts. I thought something was mentioned well before the grand final. Maybe it was just news that he wasn't going to re-sign with Manly.

The secretary of the Manly club, Ken Arthurson, said today that his committee had decided reluctantly to end negotiations to resign Fulton. The committee met last night after North Sydney's offer of a reported $40,000 a-season to the champion centre. "I wish Bob well, but we are not interested in Dutch auctions", Arthurson said. "If we get involved in this farce, it could have far-reaching and damaging effects on rugby league in general."

The cub is accountable for player contract Negotiations
Just like Arko was
We never had seen this Mediocracy on display from Arko
Because Arko was not a Mediocre Man like these blokes we have running our club

I will be very interested come Sunday what the crowd reaction will be, I don't know if anyone saw but after last night's match on the Matty Johns show Manly fans in the crowd opening yelled out "grub" and replied with "Boohs" when he asked how his reception will be. In my opinion if your going to boo, your throwing the whole team out not just one person may aswell cheer on the opposition

The Mighty Sea Eagles have given me many reasons to be proud over the past 65 years ... both as a fan and wearing the jersey .. (albiet as a lowly lower grader) ... and the class shown by the hordes of faithful at Brookie yesterday just reinforced that feeling .. It is good to be a Manly supporter and not part of the feral filth that is Parra .

not part of the feral filth that is Parra .
The Eels board of Directors keep rebuilding their club that is made from a house of straws
Whilst these incompetent people making Mediocre decisions are there
The Eels will always keep slide down the NRL Ladder

I thought on Saaby's try (1st of the game) he was gunna pass inside to DCE for the opening try !!
Saab had a great game and was a slick try, but damn that would have been a moment if the ball went back to DCE to score the opener....but DCE in fact, had a very good game and his team mates showed they support him with a vigorous effort over the 80 minutes

DCE looked to be slightly in front of Saab during that movement. So Saab made the right call.

Fair call and he got there in style....Saab played tougher footy yesterday, ran a bit harder and made those tough carries and seems he is on a mission to show he is a player on the up and not "just" a speedster....and personally I reckon he is

Yeah agree. His carries out of our territory are now very strong and he doesnt get ragdolled anymore.

Booing would have been just crass.

However , that smirk on his face as he ran out annoyed me , if was like we validated his actions.

Some may have done that , not me.

And the **** is still going on , he’s now blaming Mestrov for everything.

Just announce the big Roosters deal and move the **** on.

Not too sure whether it was D C E being so long in a Manly jersey now or just going into a total support Manly mode but personally just did not register associating D C E with any off field issues or past week antics yesterday when he was playing
.Probably a combination of both .
Just seemed business as usual with his presence and another pretty solid effort in my humble opinion.
But guess also that there were another 12 [ or including bench players ] to support and encourage also .
Didn 't pick up any noticeable crowd indifference to D C E however and that can only be to the spectators [ Manly ] credit

Agree , whilst we’ll very probably go through some short term pain afterwards , I can’t wait.

This year will be ALL about him , not the club , and certainly NOT the fans.
He was protesting in the post-match conference that it wasn’t ‘all about him’. However he has made it so since last Monday. And not for the first time in his career at Manly.

He plays those league journo goons like yo-yos.
