Yes this is my thought too. Selfish dick or not he is still playing for Manly. I would rather our chances of winning the premiership don't plummet to zero over this, and booing DCE only increases his chances of switching off rather than striving to end his time with us with a premiership

He's gotten rid of deadwood players.

F@#ked off the Fulton scurge ( and yes other than the actual Bob Fulton the rest of the clan where parasites on the club) and he called it for what it was.

He's brought in quality juniors

Brought in Brooks and made some great moneyball signings in Brown, Tevaga, Taki

Gets the players he wants signed signed.. Alla Hamoule, Hoppa, upgrades to Koula, Saab and Co
(The only reason he didn't get the DCE deal sorted is DCE told him he was retiring.. so he respectfully didn't lay on any pressure)

Up our sponsors and membership

Made tough calls on players alla Shu, Fafita and Co

Fixed the front office.. i havnt seen our management team "not in the headlines" for so long

Even the media refer to our club as being well run now.

Hell he event showed the door to Zorba

Everyone is disappointed in his decision but don’t let raw emotion get in the way of his massive contribution and success he has brought to the club.
Fans should show him respect and appreciation ,not bitterness and disgust ,we are better than that.
We all need to look forward to the next chapter,the transition brings with it excitement and intrigue,just like DCE brought to the club.
I will be very ashamed if Daly is booed because his 15 years of service will mean nothing to those who feel that way.
Let’s focus on the prospects of this year,and into the future.Go Manly!

Well said Jay , don’t listen to @BOZO for whatever reason he’s blinded by his hate for Mestrov, but you are spot on , far and away the best CEO the club has had for decades.

Bozo is living in the past, when we had Arko, when WE were the rich club , when WE could afford anyone.

The Fulton Scurge that he got rid off were the ones that brought in high quality juniors who are now our established stars like Hamoule , Koula Saab and Co,
Which quality Juniors did Mestrov bring in ? Because none of them are playing first grade .
The ones that did are the ones that he got rid of like Humpheys who are now playing fist grade else where

He brought in a tiger discounted discard in Brooks and retired players that no one wanted
How many Elite players did he sign ? None


Well run clubs do not run around late at nights making last minute contacts offers on NRL Fox Gossip tv shows . They hold controlled negotiations harmoniously in house

This whole thing is just silliness. If DCE retires at the end year or goes to another club, what's the freakin' difference to Manly. If he was a 23 year old Phil Blake, ok i get it. But he isn't. Geezus get over it.
