Would have to be it for him you would think. Wonder if he's moving on to somewhere else or retiring? Would think if he couldn't crack first grade here and playing, from all accounts, not to his old standards following that nasty sepsis, he'd be medically retiring? Very sad. Great clubman.

If Parks was given a fare well kick today. It's well deserved. One of the great line runners. He carried this team for years. Anything slightly tough, once Parks was the only one putting his hand up to take those hard runs.

I was really hoping he'd make the transition to the forwards this year. But it didn't work out.

Playing Burbo in the centres failed big time against Easts. I'm sure Boldy will have learned that lesson. It may be sensible to have him on the bench and use him in the backline for an emergency, but we have a capable winger replacement in Clayton which is what Boldy will go with.
