Not worried this comp is keeping potential first grade players match fit for our NRL team in case of injury’s. Nice if they win but not the end of the world if they get beat.

Not much good though if we arent seeing what they could do in first grade if required. They are earning big bucks to perform, not play cards on the side lines waiting for their big chance.

I wont apologize as I explained how I meant it in my post a week ago .
Do you want to continue this a week later ?
Surely there is some movie in which Sylvester Stallone's character says something like, "There are times when you just have to admit you got it wrong"?

So no highlights for Tom Wrights next YouTube video today I assume ?? Not close to NRL ready from what I've seen, he needs to improve the physical side of his game quite a bit.

I've recorded the game and hope to watch it sometime this weekend. I'm most interested in Suli, Sipley and maybe Loko - they could possibly offer something at the next level.

The reason I wont apologize is not because I am not humble enough to do so but because I made my self clear when I was asked to explain my self and I did just that . I am paying you the curtesy and the respect and found the thread and post so I can show you and if that is not enough then we can agree to disagree and get on with life and enjoy this forum

*Not a one man show or are we thread*

Why would you call anyone "cancer"?
*My reply was ...
Mate , I didn't call anyone cancer . I was using the term that is crippling our team . end

He was very ordinary today C and C. I think he still has a way to go before he is first grade material

The cancer in our side is Trents passenger who continues to wear the number 6 .

Whatever. Although for my part your 'explanation' is in the form of a denial, and would have been better in the form of a retraction.
However, as you like to say, we can agree to disagree 🙂

I just think we all need to hope for no more long term injuries in first grade, because based on what was served up today, the cupboard is threadbare. Anyone coming up from reserves will be filling a spot in the defensive line, and that's about all I'm afraid.

Not sure about that Terry. I think there's some good talent there, possibly future rep players. But they just arent performing. This side should have easily disposed on Auckland. They just didnt seem interested.

What a pathetic performance
If Lussick gets another shot in top grade you can give 3-5 tries on that edge.
Winterstein was not adding much in attack and was dominated by their pack, namely Vete who is similar to Vave at his best, great impact player off the bench imo.
Suli and Anderson with limited opportunity were the only players to have a dig, though Fainu was reasonable- nothing outstanding.
The forwards were poor with Loko playing a good 1st 10 minutes and non existent.
Falau was non existent but pretty much summed up a team pushing plays without earning it....all round a terrible game that had me disappointed, but more importantly disillusioned as a team with these players should be far better.

Supporters of all clubs like to think they have budding superstars coming through the ranks. The reality of course is different. I have little confidence that we have any competent first graders coming through, let alone superstars. If they are not interested, that in itself suggests they don't have the mental makeup for NRL.

We won the Holden Cup comp last year. Not a small achievement. A few of the players in that team are now in the BWSE squad.

I'm not going to write off the future of anyone in the squad based on one poor team performance all around... but it wasn't exactly inspiring.

Didn't see any of the game at all and haven't read all of the comments on here, but are we really slitting our wrists because our reserve grade team, who is weakened by the NRL squad having big injury troubles, losing to the reserve grade side that's NRL side is relatively injury free and was near the top of the table all of last season ?

Thanks for putting things in perspective !
