Big Oka is a Scary Thing

We all scream for some intimidation in our team, especially the forawards....but Big Oka is just ridiculous.
He is naturally stronger than anyone and his timing is near Perfect.
I think that Collins is gunna pull a hammy before we play Roosters in 2025.
Not sure if he is Captain material, but I would at very least have him as a leader and have him "asking more" from his team mates.
I mean we have this soft belly at Manly, yet he often pumps opposition players across the galaxy when they come his way....pity we can't clone him with 1 left...1 right and 1 in the middle, the opposition would be pushing bricks and errors would come along with their timing being off and of course the intensity in the contact....but the dream ends there ...
Found the commentary funny lasy night, you can have Hargreaves leading with elbows or others rocking shoulders to the head (as we seen in 2024 to Manly players), yet Oka has near perfect technique where he is square to the ball runner "maybe not wrapping, but square" and they are still saying looks like a shoulder charge.
Can we teach them a shoulder charge comes from having the body basically sideways to the hip and leading with the shoulder , as opposed to Oka being square, bending his back and simply crunching them with a "tackle"
Anyways I'm hoping Paseka and others can watch Oka's tapes and more importantly borrow some of his "Killer instinct"
2 smalls in Brown and Tevaga will lead line speed and give their 100%, but we need more from others in the middle, as was clearlt demonstrated in the weak final where we went out the back door with a whimper.
At least we can lay clain to the scariest thing in the NRL today - Big Oka !!

Great post feathered friend
He is a very Special Sea eagle indeed
Big Haumole Olakau'atu is arguably The most DESTRUCTIVE back rower in the game

Great Manly players make our Legendary Manly Jersey stand out

Great post Maxta. I think the big fella is part of the leadership group. Nowhere near his ceiling yet.

Collins will ask for a release to join Manly just to prolong his career.

Ola reminds me (sometimes) of Tony Williams. Absolute beast of a man, but occasionally he forgets just how powerful he is.
