This weeks Big League has a article about Cliffy saying to the fans to give the Lyon move a chance and there is also a good write up about Kieran Foran in the toyota cup section,
did anyone know that he has a brother that plays for the Storm under 20s at Halfback ,Imagine in say 3 years time Manly's Halves combo of the Foran brothers lol

Keiran's brother Liam partnered Mitchell Pearce in the halves for Marist College at Nth Sydney (my old school) two years ago and both made the Aust school boys that year. Keiran's in year 12 this year. Hopefully he can kick on and make it worthwhile for us.

Not to my knowledge, no. I don't think Cliffy is coaching at Manly in any capacity.

The only specialist coach that I know Killer is working with is a kicking coach, and all the playmakers work with him.

i remember Lyons was a 'skills coach' a few years ago.. but not sure if hes still involved.

Lyon more time? Fark.. hes had a season PLUS coaching from Andrew Johns and hes still clueless.

We got away with having a ghost wearing the 6 last year because we had another playmaker at hooker. Ballin is a traditional hooker so we really need that second playmer in the six.
I also read Jason Wells doesnt want to play in the 6.....
Glenn Stewart or Steve Menzies would be my choice now.

Menzies is no ball player, He would be the exact same as Lyon, because he just does not have the ball playing creativity.

Glenn Stewart is much the same I think, and definitely more valuable in the forwards

Our only hope is that Either LeStrange is a quality ball player (Which I don't know because I just have never seen him play) or that Ballin can step up into that role.

Beaver has looked more dangerous and look more likely to creative something this year with the ball in hand to be honest.

I think he has a good passing game and would survive there.

At the very least it would allow Lyon to move to the centres and essentially gives us the option of playing another forward on the park.

All it means is we lose Vaealiki's input, which has been minimal at best....
