Sure winning is an obvious answer, but to me it's attitude. I've mentioned this on another thread, but we need to have the attitude of never giving up. We'll lose games, but we must make it tough for the opposition. There needs to be a comraderie within the team where you can tell the players are playing for each other and the coach.
A classic example was in our golden era Ben Barba made a break, he was 5 m clear. Wolfman turned and chased Killer turned and chased and there were about 3 others that did the same. Barba scored, but he worked hard the whole way, we gave him and the dogs nothing.....did I mention we were leading by over 30? I have never been prouder than watching that display from our boys. We weren't cutting any corners, and it was 2011.... No surprise with the end result of that year.
