Not entirely accurate re having the worst facilities in NRL - I reckon Narrabeen and the NSW institute of sport would compare more than favorably and if not better that at least 10 other teams in the NRL.
But the article does give the middle finger to the Kennel so I am happy with it.

Speaking of that, one thing has actually surprised me this week. In the wake of DCE's ankle injury I have not heard one bit of criticism pointed towards the Brookvale playing surface as the "reason" for the injury.
I do wonder however, if that had been an opposition player what the outcry would have been. Can you imagine what would have been said if that was one of the so-called "future Immortals" or one of the current [NSW] representative darlings had been injured like that? The Manly fans wouldn't have needed to burn down Brookie like Worms fans did to Cumberland 38 years ago.....the NRL and the media would have been calling on the RAAF to bomb the place into oblivion.
