Love him or hate him, it can't really be argued that we bought him for a specific purpose, to be the halfback to deliver this side a comp, and we achieved that in the end. What role he played can be debated, but he was the man who was the skipper who lifted up the NRL trophy for the 1st time in 12 years and also the World Club Challenge

I hope he goes bloody well in England
