I don't see Myles as much of an improvement on what we currently have but I agree about Parcell.

Which one of our current forwards was capable or considered of playing at State of Origin level like Myles ?

The comparison on his ability was my opinion. I would never have picked him for origin if I were a QLD selector. His performances for the Titans is what I am more interested in. Origin history is littered with players who lift at origin time but are never quite the same player at club level. I also suspect his origin career is finished.

If he were still a genuine origin player who performed for his club at something like that level for his club each week then I think the Titans would have fought harder to keep him. I don't think they were shedding any tears when they lost him. More to the point they seemed happy to be freeing up space in their cap.
