The funny thing about that interview is how Benny fails to mention that he is one of the main reasons Balmain Leagues went broke and had to relinquish their 50% control of the JV to Western Suburbs.
Their Leagues club that he purchased for $1 still sits in ruin on Victoria Rd and are now operating out of a little old bowling club in Five Dock Park.

O my god. I didnt even recognise Benny Elias on that youtube frame grab! His mouth hardly moves when he talks because of the facelifts and other work he had done. Some serious vanity has kicked in there!

Two things I took away from Benny's rambling was 1) The team had 5 video session last week and by the time they got to Canberra they were shell shocked 2) The drug taking allegations of the 6 had had an effect not just on some but most of the players with suspicions being cast.

Which is a real shame, my Dad and Pop are staunch Balmain, and I was born there...broke the mould and broke their hearts.
