I doubt he would be able to cope with the anti Manly bias and the management here plus his recent success isn’t anything too exciting. A pass for me. If we aren’t bringing in a Manly guy then Madge would probably be a reasonable option.

Agreed, he would certainly bring a professional approach, as a contrast to the Trent Barrett school of making excuses, or the John Cartwright could not care less for Manly institute. Problem for us would be the lack of funds being made available for this to happen.

As there are no realistic Manly options (Tooves wont happen, Feck Des and we missed the Cleary boat) I think our best bet is Madge.

What we need is a hard nosed disciplinarian, our young squad doesn't have the leaders to have a young coach who wants to be everyone's friend. We need someone who will put a rocket up them
