I have to be honest, I wonder if I am watching a different game sometimes. I've been impressed by Ben T most weeks. Sure, he is far from the finished product but I really rate the kid. I think he is a terrific line runner and a brute in defence. I see him being a 10 year player at Manly in the backrow.

He is only 21 after all. He will come good eventually, and he's been doing a better job than Tuilagi did as a 24 year old. Probably needs a bit more mass that will come with time.

Plenty on here were very happy with Burbo at centre the week before.

Credit to the other team. In that game they did some things better then we did. Somethings didn't go our way, and a good team just wears some hits grow to be better. And hits back harder.

We are capable of taking em down next time. Burbo at centre and all.

Now we we just have to make sure we meet those cocks again in 2024. On wards and up wards.

He has only played 40-odd FG games and in the process he has been shuffled around between the forwards and the backs.

Let’s see how he is going after 70-80 games. That was the threshold that Des claimed was the point where they were likely to be fully formed first graders.

Now Leonard, does this mean you haven't been honest with us in the past. I'll have to review all of your past comments now. Shame on you 🙃
Haha more that I don’t like to come off like I think I am superior so it’s hard to be honest sometimes. It can sound provocative when you jump into a thread and give an opinion that is contrary to everything else that’s come before it…but I felt compelled to be honest 😂

Koula a better fit but not by heaps ] then Tulau in the centres going forward .
Lehi and Talau sort of around the same value in a wing position .
Most likely sustainable for a while yet but hard to think indefinitely.
Need a bit better technique in ball distribution and setup understanding but Talau has some good natural attacking ability , quite good and aggressive defence in the main and could well have the makings of a decent 13 [ but would still doubt as an edge ]

Will be getting his first shot at a full game in the second-row since that South's game, surely he has a niggling injury because he has not put his body on the line for tackle in a long time.

Maybe Turbo traded him his self-preservation in return for Ben's hamstrings?
