But seriously, I've seen a report out of teh UK saying he is returning to Manly and word somewhere at this end as well.

Well he was better than Bani, but wing is the only position available next year and I don't really see him as a winger. I'm surprised he's come back knowing that he's no cert to be playing first grade in his favoured positions.

i thought Farrer did a good job filling the very big boots of snake. I am happy to see him back in the team. im sure he has grown as a player in england.

Perfect utility back for the bench.

Can play fullback, wing, centre and at a pinch five-eight.

Very good player.

I rate him really highly i think he is a like for like replacement for Robbo. Not a Hoppa or Stewart style game breaker but a great solid player. He is continuing the tradition of solid safe as houses outside backs.

Assuming we are at full strength in the backs and Wolfman is right to go, I would guess that Des would initially go with Astro Boy, just over Oldfield.

I don't mind Farrar, I think he has something to offer. He was one of our more consistent backs in 2010 I thought. Did have a couple of issues with bombs, but I think he was just ahead of his time, seems the flavour of the month these days to let them bounce.

Our recruitment team haven't let us down too often of late, so if they think he is worthwhile signing then I'm happy to go with that.
