I was trying to think when I can recall us being such outsiders and no chance (or very little) of winning.
I came up with Rd 2, 2011 v the Roosters. The betting had us as $5 chances. We'd been beaten by the Storm rd 1, hadn't been picked to make the 8, Roosters were last years grand finalists, and we had rookie halves. Killer was injured, so was Kingy, and there were others. Brett Stewart led us out.
We scored first, but then the Roosters scored. Gus and the Ch9 commentators made comments about 'the flood gates about to open'. But it didn't happen....we fought and we scrapped...and we won.
A real coming of age of one Kieran Foran, that day he truly stepped up to believe in himself.
