I had a quick squizz over the Daily Telegraph interview of Beaver concerning Manly's last week.

He said everything that Monas didn't and provides a good example of the attitudes that a true captain should hold. Basically made the Max comments and a whole lot of other things into a non-issue.

I am not going to start the Beaver for Captain - Save the Whale campaign but he is a credit to our club and the game and certain other players could learn from him.

Worth a read but I don't think it is online to print here.

Can anyone imagine the reaction we would get from monas if max came out and questioned his presence at Manly?
