It seemed to me that this year we never quite clicked as such... I can't remember a single dominant 80 minute performance from our boys at all this year, just a few brilliant spells or even 40 minutes of breathtaking footy that wasn't backed up in the second half.

This sums up our year perfectly. Flashes of brilliance but never quite looked like confident defending premiers.

Still plenty to be proud of this year though, we hung tough with a disrupted preparation and never stopped trying.
