Not true at all - Barrett was there as a new age coach to bring a new revolution which has come quicker than most thought....Bozo is brilliant....so much to know Scott is no more than part of the Manly Club....and Scott has done well enough to earn that status.

Ok. First of all I am drunk. I have Just come back from a shindig of which a former nrl player was in attendance. In his new employment he was offered working with Manly. He stated that Baz was merely a puppet with the intention of Brett Fulton becoming Head coach. However Baz had been more successful than anyone thought. And now Bozo in a conundrum. Anyway maybe been discussed previously on this forum and this really isnt news but thought I would share. It was a good bbq.

I can tell you that Baz is the coach of this club and the idea that Fulton is the real coach is absolute garbage. The day to day coaching and tactics at Manly is entirely Barrett's domain. Fulton has a big say on recruitment and retention but he doesn't address the players and give them instructions about how to approach games etc.

Cartwright has a bigger influence on the day to day coaching of this team than Fulton. Absolute garbage rumour...not truth to it. I know for a fact it's false.

You know what the worse part about the whole thing is? The team and us fans are the ones who suffer. Isn't funny that as soon as we become a legitimate threat to win 2017, cap and coach rumors are played out in the media.

If you have direct contact with Trent, our tactics guru, can you ask him why our second rowers are not pulling there weight, and to be honest, havnt been all year. This is not a good tactic and adds fatigue and frustration to jake and kapow who are much more effective if they are not having to do the work for the edge forwards along with their own.

I enjoy most of trents tactics, you can pass that on too and maybe ask him what purpose does a "Lewis Brown" serve?

The answer to that question is 1 million bucks currently being transferred into Snake and Matai's account.

We don't have quality backrowers at the club. Sirro was finally coming good before he went down injured, but the others are fill ins. We have the money for next year but the other issue is the lack of quality on the market at the moment...we are going to need to buy a player that is released from a contract...we went hard for Corey Harawira Naera but missed out. The club are aware of the backrow issue.

If they are aware of the issue, why did they re sign winterstein? Look what he gets through in 80? Even more pointless a player if he is been used for impact, something he hasn't had all year.

Anyways, thanks for shedding light, I struggle to fathom we havnt got a young tyro in lower grades who can't do more in 80 minutes than frank. And Lewis brown was never, never, ever a good signing.

Many people have direct contact, but it doesn't require direct contact to state Cartwright has greater influence, just makes logical sense he does.(i doubt he would hang around if he had/has less input/influence than Bozo)

Well it wasn't logical to some people on here because they said Bozo has greater influence than Barrett, so they must also think he has greater influence than Cartwright. I wasn't making a statement for the sake of it...I was addressing the ridiculous rumours that began surfacing.

There was also something about Scott Fulton being groomed for a head coaching role which is also crap. Fulton is actually a really decent bloke and the coaching staff at Manly really get along well with him...he is not sitting back waiting to knife his good friends in the back. The HC job is not even on his radar.
