Barrett To The Dogs???

Don't worry too much, I hear Hasler to Panthers is a done deal once the Dogs release him.

I hear Knights.
You guys are lucky,I just hear a weird buzzing in my ear.

This rumour deserves its own thread.

Its being widely tipped on twitter and at The Kennel. I know they are not very reputable sources but its todays offering.

Looking at it from this perspective: I wouldn't be suprised if some clubs have perhaps approached him or are thinking about it. A coach that has managed to go from a losing team to a top contending team can garner some club/business interest. But if that were the case...would Baz move for more money? Who knows...

Not sure if posted any where, but apparently Barrett requested a release last Xmas which was declined, then the CEO was sacked and now he wants an extension

So Barrett asked for a release last Xmas and manly said no. That's a strange request from a coach to start with. Then now that the new CEO has gone Barrett asked for an extension and I guess Manly are looking at that however in the meantime the dogs want to poach him.

This idea that he asked for a release is hilarious. We finished 13th and he had one year worth of experience, and we are supposed to believe that he had clubs suiting up to pay him more and take him off our hands...the man himself felt that he was underpaid, unloved and better served somewhere else?

mmm, seems plausible.

Exactly

I don't know Baz personally, but his demeanor seems to be that of a man who is resolute and determined to find solutions.

well i for sure thought he was sh8 last year ................................and to be honest not so sure i've completely changed my mind.

A good coach creates a smart football team (e.g bennet, bellamy).......................Manly are still full of indiscipline, stupid plays and elementary mistakes

We're running good because DCE, the T-Bros, Api and MT (when he turns up) have been playing out of their skin
