Barba tests positive to cocaine

I did a little research on coke. Seems like it's detectable in urine for between 2-10 days depending on chronic usage or not. So technically he could have been flying around in the GF high as a kite? I wonder since it's only a 12 match ban that assuming he does the token rehab and gets the green light another club could pick him up on their charge to the finals. Not a lot of morality / ethics around when the players a gun and a teams desperate for success...

Most party drugs last about a week or so. If a team has a bye round they can take the pills on a Thursday - Friday and by Monday it's gone and not detectable.
I guess this means barba is off to newcastle?

Anyone who tests positive for coke, heroin, meth etc has a problem because the substance disappears from your system after only a couple of days, unlike marijuana which in larger doses can last in your system for weeks. If he tested positive knowing that he would be tested, he's probably got an ongoing problem, he's been hiding.

I dunno. Not a Barba fan, but I had a friend back in the eighties who was going out with a Parra player when they won a premiership. The players were blind drunk for three days and everyone understood. Only difference here (and big for some) is legality.
I actually don't think it's fair they test for cocaine out of season.

U want the buck$$, you sign the contract, u tow the company line. Pretty simple actually.
Nothing stopping him doing cocaine, just don't get caught and maybe even just don't do it, as u say its illegal.
And when is out of season, he may of been selected for the Australian Side as a late inclusion, what then.
