What sort of a player is this bloke?

It sounds to me like he is of a similar style to the Chad (as in a distributor, guiding the pack around the field), but a somewhat newer, improved version, who can go both the open and the blind side.

Do you guys think he will complement Dunley in the hooking role?

Someone mentioned he could be our best hooker since Jim Serdaris, which I am hoping means that we are classing Toovey as a solely a half....still, big wraps.

the kid is a natural ball player. He gives pinpoint accurate passes, can serve both sides of the ruck and can run the ball. He seems to read the game well and will offer us another player who keeps the opposition guessing.

A very good prospect. Last year when I saw him I thought he looked like he had the ball on a string, he can play the ball fool the opposition when we actually run decoys

A fair bit better than that cat Randall for mine.

Better passing game, better anticipation, not as predictable and he stings in attack too.
