Backup plan for Snake...

I dont think Hoppa should be our 'backup plan'. We need a good solid plan utilising the fast backs we already have at the club.

Whatever it is, the 'backup plan' needs to be a good one, immediately implementable, cause its gonna get a fair work-out this season.

I like the look of Cheyse Blair, both in the Neines and in Round 1. When Wolfy is back, surely it will be Blair to move to fullback . . . .
Hiku is skillful up to a point but just not quick enough.

The reality is Brett Stewart is not replaceable.

I hope Blair doesn't play fullback. Hiku is the man after Brett. Blair is not a Specialised winger like the Wolfman, Blair is a straight runner but doesn't have the step, pivot or explosive speed like the Wolfman and is more suited for second row, you could have put Symonds on the wing and he would have scored those easy tries handed to him. I have heard Blair is also ordinary under the high ball at times something that hasn't been seen yet and all part of being a good winger. He is not in the same league as Hiku.

Just saw Hoppa take an intercept with no one in front and got run down within 40 metres, I would bet anything the Hiku would outpace Hoppa, yet everyone thinks Hoppa is the solution to Brett.
The reality is that players like Stewart come along once in every generation, just as Eadie did before him.

I would love to chase a bloke like Reece Robinson. He reminds me so much of Brett when he plays. But couldnt agree more, Brett Stewart is irreplaceable.

I remember the last time Brett did his hammy at brookie, coincidentally it was in the wet too he stretched out for a run and did it scoring a try.
