.....I agree it should never have been the second tier comp.
Good to see Manly are getting themselves in the right zone in anticipation of the truck loads of western Sydney kids that will be looking for a run in State league.

I don't know about saving lives .... if it does, then that is a good thing.

But a lot of hairdressers and tattoo artists will suffer an economic downturn.

I see both the miss tackle count and score board getting far lazier after this announcement and eventually loosing conditioning and becoming disgruntled as they wont be getting near the workout they once did.

RUGBY league’s pathways to the top level are set to receive one of the biggest shake-ups in the game’s history with the Holden Cup under 20s to be replaced by two state based competitions.

From 2018 the NRL is expected to save millions by scrapping the controversial youth competition that many see as placing undue pressure on the game’s young talent.

In its place the NSW and Queensland based competitions will be expanded to feature up to 16 clubs each.
