AS some of Australia’s greatest players enter the final years of their career we begin to look toward the star’s of the future.


Regardless of the fact the Thurston’s, Smith’s and Cronk’s of the world are set to farewell the international game sooner rather than later, there is no doubting the abundance of talent waiting to come along.

Here at RLW we take a look at what we believe will be the Kangaroos squad five years from now.

1. James Tedesco

The fullback position looks to be a race in three between Blues stars Tedesco and Matt Moylan, and Valentine Holmes.

Could be. I wonder by then whether he'll be playing for Manly with his dad as coach

5 years is a long time and whilst that team is hard to argue right now I doubt there would be 10 players correct.

There are many young players who could emerge - AFB for example could easily be one of the games best props in 5 years time, could easily not be as well.
