Aussie v Poms 4 Nations Final

Two games this morning. Firstly the Aussies looked ordinary in the first half where it finished 8-0 and credit to France for sticking it to us. We ran away to a comfortable 42 - 4 win. The crowd was probably under 2000 and I have seen a better atmosphere at Manly Oval.

The Kiwi / Pom game later was a ripper. A massive commitment from the Pommy forwards won them the game 20 to 12. They will be feeling the bruises for the rest of this week.

It was the Aussie B team against France and there will be big changes for next week.

As the Poms showed in the second half last weekend they can dominate and score points, and with a huge contingent of singing red and white supporters it should be a Final worth looking forward to.

I think your praise of the Kiwi match may be a bit high MB, **** they were dreadful

Dominated all over the park and didn't fire too many shots during the game, England were impressive though, hopefully it will be a good final

Foran was mixed Ryan. Pretty quiet with ball in hand, tackled ok but made a really, really bad read from the scrum which left him with only fresh air around him as England scored. Pace of the game got a bit much for him and was subbed after 60mins looking out on his feet
