According to one journo,he was offered to someone with ties to Manly recently by the Sharks,but “Manly hierarchy gave the idea short shrift when it was bounced off them,”as stated in the story

Have to give credit to PENN. Seems he was happy to pay to help DES out and pay for Paul Green to join the team.

DES clearly views that it isn't the coaching team that is the problem or protecting his own nest and shut it down.

It's time the shoe was ball playing at either Lock or 5/8. One doesn't need a new assistant coach to make the switch.
