Api, Myles & the 'spear' tackles....

Stay stoopid NRL. Still punishing players for football accidents.

So after they get penalised or suspended, just what does the NRL expect the same player to do in the same situation next time? Be a turnstile & let the attack run through the line?

Killing the game for no reason at all. None of this actually prevents any injury. Well unless you count the option of not playing the game at all. No ball carriers will get hurt then.
not to mention both tackles were fine lol the game is soft these days

Api should get off ... he didn't pick him up and drive him ... Linnet went over the top of him ... no hands between the legs ... it was just an accident in an awkward tackle .... but then again he will cop the Manly loading

You are a myth champ, your eyes are glazed with stupidity
I may be a myth but unfortunately you seem 100% genuine central coast bogan.
Bring back your naked Mrs cooking shots ... !!

Wouldn't he be better to take guilty and have no carryover points for later in the year?

1 week out now is not as serious as a loading of 75 points later in the year.
Yep, contest it and take the 1 week, but not before presenting video evidence of 16 worse incidents that went 'unpunished'.

Contesting would be a good habit to get into........

He took the early plea yes but he will not miss a match.
Sorry - I was still seething about the 75 carryovers, which will mean that Api misses a match for something inconsequential later in the Season.

The carry over points system hasn't changed in the NRL Review of the Judiciary
