Api, Myles & the 'spear' tackles....

Watched both tackles over & over. Not sure which way the MRC will go. I think the one by Api was a little worse than Myle's tackle. If both are reviewed & both are suspended.........

We got done for a BS shoulder charge, and now we will get done for BS spear tackle. Looked worse than what it was , the player actually assisted himself in doing it

Neither seem like a picking up and dumping motion ,both looked like body weight momentum forcing player to be up ended.I say nothing ,But who knows.

The Myles tackle was just a good, tough tackle. Purely accidental that the guy's leg went up, nothing to do with The Big Short. Even the ref said he was unlucky to be penalised (!) Api could be in trouble though. Hard to tell with the MRC and I'm not sure if he has loading, etc.

I don't remember seeing their hand grab between the legs of ball runners, which is crucial in these instances normally.
Then again I don't remember much about last night after the win anyway.

Poor Josh Starling......getting the Manly loading even after he's left the club!

Manly duo Josh Starling and Apisai Koroisau could both avoid suspension with early pleas after they were cited following the Sea Eagles win over the Cowboys on Saturday night.

Edit: They've fix it now so clicking the link wont show you the stuff up.

Still annoying that ryan james did a 'taupau' style of shoulder charge but the nrl owned club didn't have its player charged.

Stay stoopid NRL. Still punishing players for football accidents.

So after they get penalised or suspended, just what does the NRL expect the same player to do in the same situation next time? Be a turnstile & let the attack run through the line?

Killing the game for no reason at all. None of this actually prevents any injury. Well unless you count the option of not playing the game at all. No ball carriers will get hurt then.
