ANZ crowds

DSM5

First Grader
I've just noticed the crowd for the Dragqueens v Storm game was about 6 thousand.  Just how does this thing work out financially for everyone? It must cost a bundle to play games at that white elephant, the stadium mustn't cover their costs, so just how does it all work?

it would be a really hollow feeling for player to play in that place with under 10,000 people there

Zorba calls it the guest house

Zorba should be concentrating on the debacle of taking a game away from Brookvale for a crowd of less than 10k

In fairness to Zorba he has stated on numerous occasions that he would prefer that all home games are played at Brookvale. The decision to play home games at such venues happens higher up the food chain from where he is positioned.

I'm assumming Manly were given a financial incentive to move the game to bluetongue, not sure/

Does anyone know if crowd size had any effect on that finacial incentive?

I know it isn't Zorbas role to determine things that high up, but still, those in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones should apply to this situation

The club would get $100,000+ (absolute minimum) to play up there, that money is guaranteed, unless of course the club has taken some deal then I have no idea, but that's generally how it goes.
