There was a documentary / film that just finished on Channel 9 about how much weight Joe Cross had lost, how his health had improved significantly and how he was now medication free. Quite inspiring actually - or maybe it's just doing night duty!!
Basically it was about increasing the intake of fruit and veg and exercising whilst decreasing your intake of the wrong types of foods and alcohol. He did a fruit & veg juice fast for 60 days and the difference was astonishing!
He wasn't selling any diet pills or miracle cures, he was pushing the advantages of good eating, exercising and lifestyle change!
There was even footage of him exercising in a Manly jersey.
